digestion is off track lately. woke up at 5:00 and had to go to the bathroom. went downstairs at around 6:00.

watched a little of the rock & roll hall of fame. ate breakfast around 6:30.

left for vre at 7:25. we usually make it if we leave at that time. we got to the vre just in time to see the train drive away. we need a better system. dropped e off at vienna.

i woke up at about 5:15. got up to check mail and so on.

dogs and fries were quite good. chili was pretty good.

we watched an episode of the world at war. kind of depressing. elizabeth went up. i watched disk 1 of the rock and roll hall of fame performance disks. entertaining.

woke up pretty early and got on line. went down around 7:00. elizabeth had been down.

elizabeth went to front royal to meet a palsy-wal for brunch. expects to be back around 1:00.

doing a few chores, reading, watching tv in the morning. listened to wait, wait. mike rowe from dirty jobs was very funny. glib, well-spoken, and fast with his responses. turns out his first job on tv was on qvc.

elizabeth got home later than expected and said she couldn't go to the library. went over at about 4:00.

at panera. chipotle had a lot of bite. mocha was free.

elizabeth went to a pals for dinner and a group of the oatlands syndicate went to see a concert in reston.

watched some corner gas. a very funny episode about pink eye. watched fsu vs. vt with t he sound off. best way to watch a football game.

elizabeth got home around 9:30. said the dinner was pretty good but rushed. concert was not here flagon of mead. the group overpowered the venue.

we watched the last episode of unpleasantness at the bellona club. one of the better wimseys from that period. in fact i like the adaptation better than the book. elizabeth was very tired. went to bed at about 9:30. only got a few hours sleep last night.

i woke up on the coach at about 12:30 and came up to bed.

i got up at a little after 5:00 for the conference call. mostly rested but cold and a little groggy. concall went as scheduled. interesting. got good feedback. next call will be in january.

went downstairs after checking email, etc. down around 7:30. elizabeth came down around 8:30.

watched an episode of corner gas during breakfast. took a nap for about 40 minutes.

had to leave at 10:30 to get to dentist on time. traffic in ffx city is still just awful.

dentist went ok. i had a headache the whole time but this hygienist is fairly is on the old jaws.

very hard to believe that it is dec. already. amazing!

woke up at about 5:20. rain was pouring down. making a lot of noise against the window. i decided to get up and check mail, etc. went down around 6:20.

just made it to the vre this morning. we left early enough but there was a huge line at the light at rte 28 so we had to improvise. got to the station as the conductor was about to close the doors.

we watched the blind side with sandra bullock this evening. really good movie. could have gotten very schmaltzy but managed to avoid it.

woke up before the alarm and got on-line. concall scheduled for 6 am.

concall cancelled late. rescheduled for thursday. worked from 5 to 7:15 while waiting for concall. very hungry, very thirsty.

best hot dogs i've had lately. ball park bun size beef franks. like the regular beef better than the angus.

watched part of harry potter and the half blood prince. realized we've seen it before. too dark to see what is happening in many scenes. largely a bore.
