a river runs through the front yard. wet, wet, wet!

got up at 7:15 and realized that my alarm clock is now 10 minutes slow. reset the clock

went to work at wegmans at about 11:15.

worked from 11:45 to about 5:20. pretty busy. pretty tiring.

got weekly groceries after work. absolutely exhausting!

pouring rain, cold and windy. i was soaked by the time i got to the car. so dark it was a very difficult drive. elizabeth had to come farther and drive on a darker road!

got home at about 6:15 and fed karma and tino.

got up at about 7:00 this morning. dark, overcast, raining. very dreary.

picked up a few things at wegmans after work. then went to walmart. walmart was a night mare. waited a long time for the pharmacy. then took forever to check out with the rest of the stuff.

got home around 5:30 in the dark. really a dreary day but fairly warm.

we watched an episode of hamish macbeth on dvd. after that watched part of a christmas story on cable. did dishes. e. went to bed.

watched big bang theory for a while. then jon stewart. now bed.

woke up at with the alarm at 6:20. planned to take e. to the vre and then go over to the dentist for a 10:45 appt. felt rotten when i woke up. sore throat, ear ache, hands and feet very painful. told e. i couldn't drive.

e. reminded me to call the dentist before she left. left a message at around 7:20 and went back to sleep.

got up at 8:00 and took tylenol.

felt better after tylenol and eating. ear aches now. oh boy. throat feels better.

fairly slow shift in the cafe. did not feel well for most of the day. got off about 10 minutes early and arranged for dec. 26 off to take candy to the airport.

very good. good quiche, very tasty salad.

groggy and tired in the evening. really felt spent. fell asleep in my work clothes on the couch soon after dinner.

got up at 5:30 this am. interview at bna and i need to catch the vre fairly early.

the bagel was a mistake. really hard on my lips.

we got to the vre with time to spare. arrived at crystal city before nine.

good interview. met with three people. hoping for the best. should hear by around dec. 16.

elizabeth told me that kiz passed away this morning. very surprising. very sad. apparently she was having heart problems and a blood clot in her lung finished her off. poor, sweet, baby. very loving and lovable cat!

went to target while betty went to the eye doctor. got home at about 4:45.

felt very tired when we got home. walking in the wind today really seemed to drain me. and feeling sad about kizzie. such a wonderful cat.
