yet another really nice day weather-wise.

really wanted to sleep in this morning. got a little done before i had to go to wegmans.

breakfast

really good eggs by elizabeth

worked at wegmans from 11:15 to 4:15.

busy day.

grocery shopping after. got home around 6:00

(just after midnight)

worked until about 7:30.

dinner

ham steak
grilled pepper and onion
egg noodles with butter and parmesan
iced tea

we watched an episode of dick van dyke and an episode of antiques roadshow. then watched a show about unusual attractions in the dc area.

sump pump in the basement is acting up. have to find somebody to look at it tomorrow.

worked for an hour before going to bed.

my 53rd birthday. 10 years ago on this date, elizabeth and i arrived in london. we were terribly tired but had to wait for hours for our room even though we had paid extra for early check in. oh well. i think we had dinner at tgif on our first night in london.

last year i returned from my trip to chennai to find the sackville-bagginses trying to take over the house.

 had to work from 10 to 3:30 today so i got up at about 7:30. really wanted to sleep in. oh well.

nice card from elizabeth when i came down.

worked from 10 to 3:30. didn't seem as busy as last sunday.

snack

met elizabeth at olive garden for dinner.

good meal. so so wait person. we haven't had dinner at a sit down restaurant in at least four months. it was a very nice change.

we watched an odd henry james movie in the evening. the american with matthew modine. an odd little bore of a movie.

went to bed around 10. felt very tired.

had to get up early in the ack emma. had to be at work by 7:00.

kept having a dream last night. i had to go to an interview and for some reason i thought i could shower and change at the location but found out i was wrong. weird, frustrating dream

got to work for a seven am shift. not really busy until about 9:00.

at around 10:00

from hot food bar. not very good.

finished work a little after 2:30. went to wawa for gas.

pretty tired when i got home. worked a little. elizabeth had gone into warrenton.

tuna wraps (2)
fruit sald

good tuna wraps. oranges in the fruit salad were a bit bitter but otherwise good.

watched as time goes by and a few episodes of doc martin. went to bed a little early pretty tired. sniffly at bed time. cough had calmed down by about 3 in the morning so i slept with the mask from 3 until the alarm went off.

got up at about 7:20. felt like sleeping for another hour but had to get up.

slept fairly well last night. still have a cold but it seems a bit better.

woke up with the alarm at 7:20. elizabeth had already gone to work. hope she caught the train.

got some work done in the morning and early afternoon. then had to run a bunch of errands.

phone interview at 10:00. don't think it went so well.

did part of the recycling today. so much to recycle that i couldn't do it in one trip.

at chipotle in warrenton. better than the last time i went to chipotle but not great.

had a link taken out of my watch. fits snugly again.

went and looked at the corpse of the borders in warrenton today. kind of depressing.

stopped at walmart for meds. may have to move my prescriptions. the service at that walmart sucks.

get groceries at bloom. just too far to go to wegmans since i was already on the other side of warrenton but i think wegmans would have been less expensive.

didn't sleep very well. still got a cold. some coughing and sneezing over night. throat feels better.
