woke up at about 4:15. v hot in the room. decided to go down and watch up again since i slept though part of it last night.

watched most of up this time. not as good as toy story or the incredibles but enjoyable. little kid in the movie reminded me of the fat kid on the roof in roxanne.

breakfast

bagel w/ cream cheese
iced tea

e running late this am. got to the light at vint hill and 28 just as it changed. if we'd been a minute later we would have missed it. weather v nice this am.

2nd breakfast

sausage mcmuffin
iced tea

at mcdonalds

opened up the front of the house when i got home. sun's on the back of the house. have to switch around in the afternoon.

lunch

pastrami, bologna, & cheese sandwich
iced tea
fig newtons (4)

I watched conair during lunch. i had never seen the movie from the beginning before. it made a little more sense when you see the whole thing. some very silly stuff in that movie.

picked up e at the vre at 6:20. stopped at caribou on the way home

snack

milk chocolate mocha

dinner

turkey reuben
pickle spears (2)
potato salad
iced tea

beefsteak rye is sliced a little too thin to make a reuben.

ifc was showing the full monty. we have it on dvd but ended up watching the end on cable. serendipity i guess.

after the full monty, we watched the shorts and features on the up dvd. i laughed like crazy at the dog short on the dvd. like a really funny road runner / coyote cartoon.

the james taylor and carol king concert was on pbs after that. really nice concert. the performance of fire and rain is a tour de force. really moving, really beautiful.
