starting watching the early world cup match

e was supposed to call around 11. i was surprised when she called around 9:00. she had been sick all night at the hotel and needed me to pick her up and take her home. there is not much worse than being sick in a hotel. poor kid.

i had to find directions to the hotel and shower quickly. fortunately traffic is fairly light on saturday so it only took about one hr to get to alexandria. i was able to park rt in front of the hotel. e looked miserable. she had eaten some food that had apparently gone bad. in effect, she had delhi belly in alexandria. i packed up her stuff and the hotel brought up a wheel chair. she was totally wiped out. slept part of the way in the car.

e went to bed for several hrs

chips
yogurt
iced tea

watched the us/england soccer match. interesting match. 1-1 tie was a pretty good result for the us.

checked on e about every 90 min. she was still having bouts of illness. just got her beverages and ice.

dinner

pizza
coke

i had papa john's pizza because betty doesn't like it.

watched the incredibles on dvd and james taylor and carol king on pbs.

e read a little before bed and went to bed around 11:00. i went to bed after that.

woke up once in the night. e had the lights on. she was ok. just breaking up a cat fight.
