slept in until about 6:30 because i had a doctor's appointment in the am.

breakfast

got to the doctor's office at about 8:05. 8:15 appointment. dr. g. looked at the mri. he said there is a bone (acromion?) pressing on a tendon. there is also some tearing of the cartilage around the rotator. he says it can be repaired with outpatient surgery. it is not urgent at this time but should be taken care off.

outpatient
then one week at home (recovering from the pain)
then five weeks when you can't reach with your right arm

lots of logistics to work out. don't know if i'd be able to drive among other things. lots to consider.

2nd breakfast

bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit (2)
iced tea

at mcdonald's in warrenton.

left warrenton around 9:00. got to vienna a little before 10:00. lots of tourists on the train. got to foggy bottom at around 10:35. checked out the starbucks in gwu hospital. too crowded at the moment but might be an option some mornings.

got to the office just before 11:00.

loads of miscellaneous must do items in my in box. busy, busy.

pretty good.

working until about 7:00. of course, now it is raining!
