slept badly. woke up about every 90 minutes during the night. the alarm went off at 6:10. i actually got up and went downstairs at 6:30. i tried to watch the end of who am i this time but there was just way too much streetcar named desire in the play within the play. not a fave.

we got to the vre on time. the new light on vint hill is a real bear. i know it must be great for the people coming out of that street so i can't really complain but i don't understand why they didn't turn the light on at the beginning of summer rather than waiting until school started.

checked email. shaved and so on. left the house at 7:45 for doctor's appointment.

elizabeth drove to the vre. said she mad it with plenty of time to spare.

actually in and out at the doctor's office by 9:45. lost 35 pounds according to the doctor's scale.

the alarm went off at 6:20 this am. didn't want to get up. august already. just wanted to crawl back to bed.

breakfast

bagel w/ cream cheese
banana (half)
oj
coffee
iced tea

we got to the vre on time this morning. there was a long line for validating tickets. the train waited until everyone got on, thank goodness.

i went to planet fitness after that. good workout.

snack

slice of cheese
banana

i got to fauquier courthouse at around 12:30. worked until 2:30.

lunch

ham and cheese on a bagel
apple
yogurt
iced tea

worked from about 3:00 to 4:30.

walmart after that. followed by harris-teeter. then directly to the vre.

dinner

turkey reuben
cole slaw
tea

worked on the computer in the evening.
