i woke up at about 6:30. decided to go back to sleep. woke up a little before 8:00.

started cutting the grass. got to hot and got stuck in the depression out front. letting the mower cool.

mower didn't recover well even after cool down. will have to replace air filter, fuel filter, spark plug and change oil to see if that helps.

lots of chores to do in the afternoon. went to the recycling center. after that i went to sheetz for gas. it was the lowest price i could find on the web. very busy!

at sheetz. burger was surprisingly good. people behind the counter were doing training so it took FOREVER!

went to fauquier hospital to get my thumb x-rayed. crazy parking lot. once inside it went very smoothly. really nice folks at the hospital. pretty well organized. very quite. nice grounds

after x-ray i went to the bistro on the hill partly to find it and partly to get a cup of coffee

home depot after to look for a battery. wasn't sure whether it was the right animal.

giant for groceries. giant pricing is not good. i must have managed to get a lot of stuff on sale the last times i went to giant. could not believe some of the prices today. may have to look at bloom.

woke up with the alarm at about 6 am. everything ached because it got rather cold overnight.

turned on the radio while putting on warm clothes. heard the big news about bin laden. it took some time to sink in!

dropped off elizabeth at the vre in time. forgot to bring my shoes so i missed the gym this morning. kicking myself. watched a pilates video when i got home to see if i'm ready to try that again. may do so tomorrow.

i woke up at about 4 in the morning quite cold. had to find a blanket in order to get back to sleep. woke up again at 5:30 and again at 7:30. finally got up between 7:30 and 8:00.

i happened to turn on the bucket list just as it was starting. while the story is somewhat hackneyed the movie is actually pretty good. i was surprised. i've been avoiding that movie since i first saw the commercials when it came out.
