woke up at about 5:00 and put the mask back on. woke up at 7:30 with the mask on blowing very cold air. pulled sheet to warm up and fell asleep again. woke up at 8:15 and went down.

very hot in the room this morning. warm out plus the o2 concentrator = heat heat heat

lots of aches and pains this morning. did a pretty good amount of work on the weekend and felt it today!

checkup this morning with dr. lewis so i am fasting.

got to the vre in good time. e. is almost out of farecards. has to order more today.

left the vre at around 7:45 and got to ffx city around 8:30. dr. office by 8:45. lots of changes in ffx. pnc bank on corner of main and judicial. new building under construction along judicial near leonard street.

lost 10 pounds according to doctor. blood pressure good. test results next week. he looked at my thumb and gave me a prescription for an x-ray if it isn't better soon. also suggested a brace to immobolize the thumb.

finished breakfast. wanted to go to the gym. had to figure out how to open the door with the power off. found out it is pretty easy to do from inside but impossible to do from outside. food for thought.

we watched holmes: the six napoleons and poirot: double sin on pbs. interesting that those two stories should fall together.

in the six napoleons, lastrade tells holmes that all of scotland yard admires him and would line up to shake his hand and holmes is moved and surprised that he is moved.

in double sin, poirot is sulking because he thinks inspector japp is giving a talk and claiming credit for cases poirot has solved. however, when he sneaks in to the talk he hears japp warmly endorse poirot's method and call him a great detective. the audience applauds enthusiastically and poirot is pleased.

elizabeth suggested that i leave the window open slightly to offset the oxygen concentrator. tried it the last two nights. of course it works. last night it worked too well. fell asleep before putting the mask on. woke up at 3:00 and put the mask on. alarm went off at 5:10 and i still had the mask on.

conference call at 6:00. didn't actually start until 6:10. problem with the internet connection on my side. it dropped at about 2 minutes before 6:00. pretty good call.

slept pretty well last night. used the bipap for a fairly long time. fell asleep at 10:00. woke up with the mask off at 1:00. at that point the room was so hot that i turned the o2 machine off. slept until about 5:15.

leg feels much better today. knee still a little sore. otherwise groovy.

rt leg is sore from the big toe to the hip. ouch. woke me up several times overnight.

woke up at 5:30. got up and went downstairs at about 6:00.

digestive tract is not happy with the mexican food from last night. a few trips to the bathroom so far. i hope this will calm down soon.
