today is my 54th birthday. definitely feeling old in the am.
hit snooze when the alarm went off at 4:45. hit snooze again the next time. got up at 5:00. didn't feel hungry.

opened presents in the am. elizabeth got me a kindle fire and a case. also a pretty funny card.
have to let the kindle charge and then set it up. i guess that's why she asked if i wanted to open it last night.
met ed on the way from the metro. i guess he was coming from the bus.

at the uptowner. got to work around 8:20.
met with v.i. about the scraper in the morning.

ginger ale
from the cafe. good but a bit spicy!
