woke up at 5 am. had to run to the bathroom. ate way too much chow for dinner last night!
went downstairs at about 6. looks like tino has learned to open the cat door. most of the cats were outside and it was raining.

watched part of chariots of fire during breakfast. i keep seeing the 2nd half.

watched some football, did some vacuuming, and rearranged furniture a little during the day.
elizabeth nearly got in a serious accident in the afternoon. she was returning a book to the library. when she got a green light at the corner of 29 and broad run she noticed a car in the corner of her eye so she stopped. the car ran the light at full speed and clipped the license plate off of the front of e's car. if she'd been just a tiny bit more into the intersection it would have been a serious accident!

we watched the first episode of deep space nine on dvd. the bejouran major is clearly the weak link of the show. not very good. otherwise i enjoyed the program.
