i had an interview in dc today so i got up quite early. up and in the shower by 5:30. left the house at 6:30.

breakfast

oj
peanut butter crackers

at the vre station at broad run

took the vre to crystal city and then took the metro to foggy bottom.

i made it to the interview about 20 minutes early. i would have been a little earlier but i barely missed the train at crystal city.

good series of interviews. met with five people between 9:20 and about 1:30. i've got my fingers crossed.

road the metro from foggy bottom back to crystal city.

lunch

sandwich
chips
dr. pepper

at pot bellies in crystal city.

i was still quite hungry after that.

snack

chicken salad sandwich
cappu

at starbucks in c.c. very good coffee. ok sandwich.

spent some time writing in my notebook. next train back wasn't until nearly 4:00. pretty much relaxed in c.c. until about 3:40. caught the train at 3:57. very crowded.

stood on the train until we got to manassas park.

stopped at arby's on the way home for a bathroom break. i thought i would make it all the way home but i had to go!

good tea at arby's.

got home around 6:00. long day. quite tired.

don't really remember the evening. must have gone to bed early.
