still maintaining the cold overnight pleasant during the day pattern. really quite nice weather.
up early for an early am presentation. went well but i was hungry for breakfast the whole time.

our toaster is no longer working. i guess it is at least 6 yrs old. we're debating about whether to get a toaster or a toaster oven. you don't realize how often you use the toaster until it is not available.

at Glory Days in Gainesville. watched a little of the Barcelona/Intermilan match during lunch. i really don't understand how the UEFA Cup works.

we watched another Lovejoy after dinner. some old favorites from British tv were in this episode. Selina Cadell, the housekeeper in A Pocketful of Rye, and Peter Benson, Perkins in Have His Carcass among other things. it's always a kick when you recognize someone and it gradually dawns on you where you've seen the person.
