i got pretty chilly over night. i woke up at about 6:15. thought about getting up. decided to pull the blankets over me. went back to sleep and woke up at about 9:00.

did some chores and some work on the computer in the morning.

egg salad wrap with swiss

quite good.
thinking about going to barnes & noble this afternoon.

we decided to go to merrifield garden center in the afternoon. elizabeth wandered through and looked at the plants. i sat in the cafe area and read a year in provence. nice to be out of the house for a little while.

snack bar at mgc is very inexpensive. cookie was quite good.
we went to caribou coffee after that and just sat and chatted for a while.

medium coffee
coffee was only so so but we got some comfortable chairs and sat for about an hour. came home after that to feed the cats, etc.

apple, cranberry, feta salad

we watched a show about how they make duke's mayo, double edge razor blades, and double edged razors. interesting. watched part of blade runner after that on syfy. too many commercials, though.
