woke up at 6:30. got up early to take elizabeth to the vre and get to the doctor's office by nine.
fasting this morning for doctor's appointment.
we left for the vre a little earlier than usual. made the train in plenty of time. after today e. has nearly two weeks off. hope she has a nice time. candy will be here on thursday through early morning monday.
got to the doctor's office about 20 minutes early.
appointment went pretty well.
starving by the time i was finished.

good but definitely less food than anita's used to give you. they have excellent bacon at anita's.
inside has been completely updated. now they have booths along both walls. waitress was one of my old pals. they must have people working there who have been on the staff for 20 years.
stopped for gas on the way home.
stopped at wegmans to have a prescription filled. may shift my regular prescriptions to wegmans if price is competitive.

also bought a sub for lunch (and additional meals).
refilled washer fluid on both cars when i got home.

fed karma and gave her her meds before going to the vre. left for the vre at about 5:50. got there about five minutes ahead of time.

at tuscani grill near the vre station. pretty good. dinner out to celebrate the beginning of e's vacation. i don't think we've eaten in a sit down restaurant since my birthday. About 10 weeks.
(i take that back. we ate ate ruby tuesday for lunch about two weeks ago.)
we got home at about 8:15 or so. i did some work for about an hour and then watched the end of antiques roadshow.
going to bed early. feel like i've got a bit of an earache coming on.
