woke up 12 minutes before the alarm again. until about 2 yrs ago i was the kind of person who often slept through the alarm. now i routinely wake up as much as an hour before the alarm. strange.

took E to the VRE this morning. on the way back i saw a lady running for the train. knew she had no chance of catching it so i drove her to the train and she just barely made it. nice to help someone out with so little effort.

got a call from Tom Walls just as i was getting ready to go the VRE. nice to chat with him.

we watched an episode of ST:TNG on BBC America. kind of a silly episode. i watched Clerks 2 after E went to bed. i liked it a lot more than expected to. not a Clerks fan. may have to go back and watch Clerks again now.
