planned to leave the house by 11 or 11:30. got way behind on all the stuff i had to do. actually left the house at about 1:00. went to the bank at that time. long line at the bank. went to lunch at about 1:30

finally on the way to NN at about 2:00. stopped for gas at stafford

got bogged down from just before 95 to about exit 120 on 95 went through Richmond on 64. bogged down for a few miles around boulevard. excellent time from the east side of Richmond to the rest area on 64.

dr. pepper at rest area
came to a complete stop on 64 at the Busch Gardens exit. decided to jump over to 60. went a few miles on 60 before being bogged down. about 90 minutes to get from Busch to Courthouse Road in Newport News.
had dinner with my mom and her weekly dinner group. average age is probably around 70 but everybody in the group seems to be in fairly good health. they definitely know how to enjoy themselves!
