got up at around 7:00. we are planning to go into dc in the morning.

left at around 10:00 to go to the national geographic museum. saw the show about birds of paradise and another about 1001 great inventions. the bird show was quite good. felt that the other one was more targeted for kids.
went to pot bellys nearby for lunch but it was so crowded that we changed out minds. ended up going to a quizno's down the block instead. bad service at the quiznos. no wonder they are having problems.

took the metro back from farragut west to vienna. pretty crowded. we got a seat around ballston.
thought about going to pan am for coffee but the mall was insane.
stopped at the starbucks in gainesville
