woke up to see snow came down overnight. it didn't look very heavy but i thought i might be better off driving to the vre a little later in the morning. decided to catch the 7:20 train and went back to sleep for a half hour.

left at about 6:40. bogged slow going until broad run church and then kind of a mess in the parking lot. just misssed the 7:20 train. 7:50 train left on time but went extremely slowly from before alexandria until l'enfant. i should have gotten off at alexandria or crystal. oh well. got to l'enfant 15 minutes late. metro train stopped at farragut west for about 7 minutes. fun. got to work at about 10:00.

left the office at about 5:00. caught the 5:36. pretty crowded. smelled like wet clothes and farts. unfortunate!
