woke up with back spasms in the morning. tried to stretch them out but couldn't do so. went back to bed until about 7:30. called in sick.

breakfast

cereal
oj
iced tea

settled on the couch with a ton of pillows and the heating pad. took an aleve. a little more comfortable by late morning.

lunch

pb/j sandwiches (1.5)
iced tea

watched ride with the devil in the afternoon. kind of an unfocused movie. tone was not managed well. hard to care about any of the characters. echoes of a lot of other movies including the mel gibson revolutionary war violence fest (can't recall the title).

watched something ok on tv.
