up at 5:30 to give the cat the shot. wasn't sure what day it was.

e woke up around 7:30 and i took her up something to eat. she's still feeling exhausted but generally better.

watched italy vs. paraguay in the afternoon. boring! disappointing. ended with a 1-1 tie in the pouring rain.
e felt well enough in the afternoon to come down and watch a little tv and have yogurt and tea for dinner.
i went out in the evening to get dry cat food and greenies. we were totally out.

at chik-fil-a in warrenton. the spicy chicken is surprisingly spicy. really didn't agree with my stomach given how strangely i've been eating.

really tart, really tasty lemon sorbet.
we watched a mulliner story from wodehouse playhouse on dvd. 1970 production. p.g. wodehouse himself introduces the story. i'm not real big on mulliner but it was pretty funny.
tried to watch elizabeth, the golden age. sort of a cliff's notes version of elizabeth and the spanish armada. beautiful costumes, amazing locations, good cast but generally a bit of a disappointment. the intrigues weren't intriguing enough. they also forgot to mention that nobody expects the spanish inquisition.
germany and the netherlands look very solid in the world cup so far. italy not so much.
