woke up at 4:30 this ack emma. couldn't get back to sleep so i took a book downstairs and read from about 5:00 until about 6:00. adventures of kavalier and klay.

tried to watch mike and mike with breakfast. they spent so much time complaining about some stupid mistaken call in a baseball game that i had to change.

a little ice cream
when we lived on ft. eustis one of my favorite treats was a bowl of vanilla ice cream and a handful of pretzels. used to also like a scoop of ice cream on a waffle or pan cake.
at uva there was a famous "delicacy" at the university diner. it was called a grillswith. they put a glazed donut on the grill and added a scoop vanilla ice cream in the hole. tasty but not my favorite.
it looks like the university diner is no more but apparently you can now get a grillswith at the white spot.

most of the annie's products i've tried are pretty good. the enchiladas were tasty but not very filling. v warm in the house today. feels like a storm approaching.
