woke up at 6:00. karma came in to the room. i decided i better keep as close to the old schedule as possible. fed kizzie and karma at about 6:15.

watched part of the future is unwritten. interesting. i'd like to see it with closed captions because some of the accents are pretty dense.

breakfast

bagel w/ cream cheese
oj
iced tea
coffee

watched and snoozed through slovakia vs. paraguay. p won 2-0. scrappy but not very satisfying match. nz is actually leading italy 1-0 at this time. brazil vs. cote d'ivoire in the afternoon match.

lunch

salami, cheese, and tomato sandwich
yogurt
iced tea

excellent tomatoes from the grocery store for once.

e. going to book group in the afternoon.

spend the afternoon vacuuming and doing dishes and so on. didn't get as much done as i wanted to. just way to hot in the house. v humid.

dinner

shelf stable turkey and stuffing dinner
pretzels
iced tea

yech.

watched gross point blank. first half. good mix of action and comedy. joan cusack may be the funniest person alive.



i usually like the us open, esp. if it is an pebble beach but this year i can't muster any interest.
