woke up at 5:15 in the morning. knee felt much better. easier to get up and down the stairs.
watched the other boleyn girl, bbc version with natascha mcelhone, in the morning. slow starting but pretty solid by the end of the movie.
took e to the vre

drove e to the vre. traffic is lighter lately because school is out. i'm guessing we'll get spoiled and then be upset when september rolls around.

hot dog sandwich is made with two grilled hot dogs (sliced down the middle and grilled) w/ swiss melted on top and sauerkraut added on top to warm up. put all the ingredients on a toasted bagel with mustard. just invented it today. really quite good. probably should be made with one dog but i wanted to use up the dogs.
e's train was about 30 min late at the station this evening. a new company has taken over running the vre so apparently they are required to do some testing that slows down the train.

we watched antiques roadshow from salt lake city and then part of a biography of the rockefeller family.
cool in the evening but damp.
