woke up at about 5:15. felt very hot and sweaty. took a shower at about 5:30. felt much better.

scheduled for 9:00 o'clock concall. once again had to be rescheduled.

e. is going to lunch with liz and some pals in purcellville.

lunch

chicken club sandwich

"snack size" m&m mcflurry

chicken sandwich was not so good. bread was sweet and a little stale. fries were good. mcflurry was ok.

lots of chores at lunch time. lowes, petsmart, wachovia, wegmans, harris teeter. melting by the time i got home.

unpacked groceries, did dishes, etc.

roast beef, cream cheese, mustard, cole slaw on a toasted bagel. really quite good.

e. got home from leesburg later than expected. bad back up on route 15. she just about melted sitting still in the traffic. must have hit 98 or so today. poor kid. said the restaurant was just ok.

dinner

chicken a la bear
iced tea

chicken a la bear is baked chicken cooked with spaghetti sauce and served over pasta. it was invented by my sister claire who is affectionately called claire the bear. she used to have about 8 million teddy bears when she was a slip of a girl.

watched an episode of lovejoy after dinner. i'd say a b- episode. plot was a little weak but characters had a lot of fun.
