woke up around 5:30. very thirsty. way too hot. went downstairs to aim two fans at me.
started watching jay and silent bob strike back. watched the first 45 minutes dozing off and waking up. very surreal.

i really wish they showed this old house at 9:00 instead of 10:00.
started working on a project i've been putting off. cleaning the basement. did the first half this morning/early afternoon. 2nd half tomorrow.

we were planning to go to the library. realised we had to rush to make it. got there at about 3:30. it's nice to spend a little time at the library. the warrenton branch of the library reminds me of the old virgil i grissom branch in newport news. the one in the little 4 room building. the warrenton library is much larger but it has that same make the best use of space quality.
we went to walmart after that. then home.
there's a little booth at the corner of beverly church rd and rt. 29. it was probably the atm of the tfb at one point. about a yr or two ago someone tried to open a take out coffee shop in the booth. i think it lated about 9 mo. now it's a little shop that sells cheese cake. we stopped by to get the menu today. wonder when it will go under. can't imagine a huge cheese cake trade at that location.

we watched another lovejoy after dinner. pretty good episode. lovejoy and tink have a falling out.
The little coffee place was open for much longer than a year. I remember stopping there on the way to a couple of the Oatlands guides trips, most recently in March 2007.
