got up in time to feed karma in the morning.

breakfast

bagel w/ butter
banana
oj
iced tea

got to the vre a little early in the morning. sat near the back of the train. train stopped for 10 or 15 minutes because of a signal problem. since i was running a little late i thought i'd take the first train to come in at king street, yellow or blue. ended up taking a yellow train. yellow actually takes a lot longer. many more stops. i knew it would be longer but i was surprised by how much longer!

l'enfant is a very busy station and the signs aren't so good.

got to work about 15 minutes late.

stopped at aroma on the way in for something to drink. $2 for an orangina seems a bit steep!

at the cafeteria downstairs. way too much food but very good.

snack

coffee

made sure to leave the office a little early so i would catch the vre on time. supposed to pick up e. at the rental car office. got a message from e. that they had dropped her off at home.

stopped at h-t on the way home.

chili dogs (2)
beans
iced tea

dessert

slice of cake

watched the empty house (sherlock holmes) and part of dead man's mirror (poirot). truly wiped out so i went to bed early
