up at 5:00 to try to catch the 6:40 train. elizabeth already up. i don't think we woke mommy up.

left the house at my target time. got on the train with about 4 minutes to spare. train was about 30 minutes late by the time we got to alexandria.
got to work at about 8:50. if the train were on time i'd probably arrive by 8:30.

left the office at around 4:50. caught the earlier blue train.
caught the 5:42 vre. train was very full and took a long time to get home because of track work. didn't get to broad run until after 7:00. didn't get a seat until after rolling road.
got home a bit before 8:00. car made a really odd noise just as i got home. worrying about that. e. may drive me to the vre in the morning.

really good sandwiches this time. i think mommy really liked them.
we watched an episode of ncis and then a pbs show sort of like bargain hunt. really bad contestants!
dishes. to bed around 11:15.
