raining in the am. slow trip to the vre.

train was running slow this morning because of track work. got to alexandria about 15 min late.

stood on the platform waiting for metro forever. first train was yellow but the schedule said a blue was to follow in two minutes. first blue was so full i couldn't get on. ended up taking a yellow/green l'enfant.

jerry back from vacation today. said he had some adventures with the weather but mostly a nice vacation.

i walked to the metro with nancy. seems quite nice. i did the l'enfant plaza experiment in the evening. found it takes a good deal longer to go by l'enfant.

at sbarro at crystal city.

missed the 5:42 vre. next train was delayed. did not arrive until almost 7:00. didn't get home until about 8:00.

watched a show about english country homes. intesting but the guy seemed to whisper a lot.

dishes before bed. didn't get to bed until midnight.
