Abe Lincoln's birthday!

i woke up at about 4:00 today. had terrible dreams. i didn't want to go back to those dreams so i got up and got on line i've had a bit of a nap in the chair as well.

finally went downstairs around 7:00

Elizabeth made breakfast:

omelette with pancetta and provolone
banana (half)

coffee
iced tea

excellent!

watched this old house hour. i get a huge kick out of that show. esp. the ask this old house part.

we went to warrenton in the afternoon. parked in the post office parking lot and walked over to the library. it was nice and sunny but a little chilly. we went to home depot after the library to get a pole saw. quite a few branches need to be cut down. supposed to be warm tomorrow so we hope to get it done then.

we watched an episode of as time goes by in the evening. then two episodes of doc martin.
