i was hoping to sleep in a little today because i had a doctor's appointment and would have to take the metro to work in the morning. woke up at 5:15. managed to go back to sleep for a little but woke up again at 6:00. fasting so i couldn't eat breakfast.
got on line and paid bills. then did dishes. kept thinking i had plenty of time until i was actually running a little late.
left for fairfax at 8:05. arrived at office at 8:50. doctor running late. didn't get in to the exam room until 9:45. didn't leave the office until 10:10.

at mcdonald's in ffx city.
drove to vienna to catch the metro. vienna metro station is undergoing a huge renovation. you can't enter from nutley street anymore. took me a while to get to the parking garage then a long walk to the metro.
got to work at noon.

pizza (1 slice)
ceasar salad (small)
coke
at the cafe. clam pizza. ok but not great. will try something more pedestrian next time they have pizza.

worked until 7:00. i have an hour to make up. i'll try to do a half hour next week and a half hour the week after.
the office got very quite in the afternoon.
got to vienna at around 7:45. there was a guy busking there. singing that alternative version of somewhere over the rainbow. there were parts of the arrangement that were out of his range. mostly sounded ok until he hit those parts. such a nice song.
planned to drive all the way home and get eggs and toast for breakfast. had to stop at wawa to go to the bathroom so i got some chow there.

excellent sandwich. i wish i could remember what i ordered.
got home about 9:00.
did the dishes and went to bed for the most part.
