woke up when the alarm went off at 6:30. i could have slept for another hour but made myself get up. elizabeth was sick for a good part of the night. still feeling badly and will stay home. poor kid.

fed karma, shanti, and tino before going to work. gave karma her shot.
took a few things to e. in the morning.
left for work a few minutes late. got to the train on time, however. looks like schools are still off in fauquier.
not very crowded on the vre but probably just a little less than normal.
metro train got so full that i almost couldn't get off at foggy bottom.

it was pouring rain a few minutes ago.
i actually managed to snag a tangerine and a banana when the fruit guys arrived today.

at the cafeteria downstairs. pretty good. i was planning to just get a salad but the teriyaki beef sounded good.

left the office a little late. managed to catch the right metro train and make the connection at the vre station.

e. was still not feeling well so i stopped at subway on the way home.

watched antiques roadshow and part of the englishman who went up a hill and came down a mountain.
