woke up a few times during the night. woke up at about 6:15. thought i might sit in the car and listen to drood. it has gotten to a very interesting part.
turned on sports center and got a drink of tea

much cooler weather today. far less humid. we should take advantage.
did some work in the morning. listened to click and clack and wait wait.

noodles were just ok. i had another simply asia product a few months ago that was better.
we went to the pool store in the afternoon to get a replacement part. one of the parts we needed, a simple lid, cost more than $50. we decided to live without it.
library to return some books. gave up on the razor's edge. may try it again later. checked out nick hornsby's high fidelity and chuck dicken's mystery of edmund drood.

we watched an episode of foyle's war in the evening. very little foyle because of the nature of the plot but lots of incident. oddly enough the episode featured three actors who were in the 96 version of persuasion. corin redgrave, phoebe nicholls (who also played cordelia flyte in brideshead), and richard mccabe (who also played the architect/restranteur tony in notting hill). (sir walter eliot, elizabeth eliot, and capt. benwick)
