woke up at 6:00. felt too cold to fall asleep. got up to check mail, etc. fell asleep in front of the computer. much warmer in the office with the door closed. actually slept from about 6:30 to 9:30. very stiff when i got up.

finally got to go to the library this afternoon. been meaning to go for a week. had an overdue book. "you feel shame". i got the hunchback of notre dame on talking book. seem to gravitate to these french books lately.

quite good. tiramisu had a ton of rum in it.
we borrowed some old peter wimsey dvds from the library. watched part one of clouds of witness.fun to see it again but i still can't buy ian carmichael as wimsey.
