woke up at about 7:00. going to nn today.

breakfast

bagel thin, plain
two eggs (fried)
banana
oj
coffee
iced tea
small bowl of cereal

dragging my feet. really need to get started!

drove to nn in two stages. home to new kent. then new kent to nn. traffic was remarkably light. backups at stafford on 95 and at ashland on 95. neither for very long.

snack

cheeseburger
iced tea

at hardees in stafford. mostly stopped to go to the bathroom. drove from exit 133 of 95 to 295 to 64 at that stage. wanted to keep going as long as the traffic was clear. got to new kent about 40 miles from nn and stopped partly from hunger partly from thirst and partly from a need to go to the bathroom.

small salad
steak and cheese
iced tea

pretty good food at a place called antonio's or something like that. alternative was dq. arrived in nn before two.

just me and mommy on wednesday. chatted and watched a bit of tv. mommy usually eats fairly early so we went to steve and nick's at around 5:00. very nice waitress. german or swiss accent. said her daughter was making thanksgiving dinner for the first time the next day.

scallops over rice

scallops were excellent. fries so so. i got fries because i remembered them being particularly good at s&n. didn't really like them this time. lots of scallops though. mommy had salmon and said it was also good.

watched tv and talked until about 11:00. we pretty much stuck with mommy's normal schedule of shows though i did have to veto survivor. i think we watched cold case instead.

slept on the sofa. house very hot. aimed the fan right at me. used the tv as a night light. slept pretty well.
