woke up at about 6:00. very cold. went back to sleep. woke up at 7:00. it was so light that i thought i had overslept. difference between edt and est.

planning to go to the mall today to see the rockwell exhibit.
we went downtown to the rockwell. started later than we planned to but the museum didn't open until 11:30 anyway.

at panera in ballston. ballston has changed a lot. much of it for the worse. parking garage is really badly signed. much of the space is wasted for monthly parkers who don't monthly park. serious pain in the ass.
took metro to gallery place. i think there was one working escalator. amazing.
rockwell show was really interesting. it is just unbelievable that a person produced these pictures. so meticulous.
we planned to go to the freer to see one or two exhibits but the travel time just took too long. we also didn't want to leave dc too late. went back to ballston at around 3:45.
