a little bit of snow in the morning. predicting fairly light snow for us, say 1-3 in, but heavy snow to the east from north carolina to canada.

lots of dishes to do today.

the person who was going to pick candy up at the airport has said that he will not be coming. more to the story but i won't record it here. now we are trying to get candy on an earlier plane or find someone to pick her up at nearly midnight on a cold, windy, snowy, sunday in charlotte. jeez.

karen says don and leslie will come to get candy. in the meantime, mommy's flight for monday is cancelled and karen is trying to get her rebooked. seems a lot of us are spending a lot of time on the sunday after christmas dealing with plane reservations. no fun..

candy and elizabeth went out in the snow just to get out of the house. candy in a bad mood. i decided to stay and watch a little football.

feeling overwhelmed by the turkey. light meal seems better.

we left for iad at about 7:15. roads were not bad once you got out of the neighborhood. 66 was just fun. 28 not bad. dropped candy and elizabeth at departures. e. got gate pass to go with candy to the gate. i waited at baggage claim and kept an eye on the departures status board.

plane took off 15 min late at about 10:10. we got home around 11:30. candy had a problem connecting with leslie. either a phone problem of confusion. karen and elizabeth finally managed to get them connected. candy got home around 1:00 don and leslie around 1:20 or 1:30 i guess.

my back was aching for some reason. i took an advil at about 11:30 and woke up at 3:00 in the morning.
