woke up a lot during the night. woke up at 6:00 and went down stairs. back is stiff but not as sore as yesterday. very cold over night. about 29 when i turned on the tv.

went back to find the vacuum store today. turns out they just haven't updated their web page. the store moved to the location i found yesterday.

from wendy's. the new fries. pretty good. hotter than usual, of course. see if they keep that up.

sleep study tonight. not sleeping at home. i find this process amazingly disorienting.

left for the sleep study at about 8:40. full house at the clinic. four, older men, say 50-65, all overweight, all looking pretty tired.
tech. started working with me around 10:00. tried a new kind of mask that covers nose and mouth. felt like i was sleeping ok but woke up every 60-90 minutes. tried a different mask around 2:00 am. tech showed me a full face mask. tried that on and was immediately freaked out. said no thank you please. ended up using a more compact nose and mouth mask. preferred it to the first mask but pressure was very high. pressure woke me up several times.
