we missed the vre this morning. traffic was much heavier than usual. it took us more than 40 minutes to get from the vre station to balls ford road. radio said 66 backed up from the beltway to gainesville. elizabeth decided to come home and go into the office tomorrow.

at chick-fil-a. we stopped there hoping the traffic would clear out a bit but it didn't work.
