woke up at 4:50. thought i'll just close my eyes until the alarm goes off. woke up at 5:30 and realized i had not set the alarm. crap.

caught the 7:20 train (330) instead of 6:40 (328). train was pretty full. metro was very full. definitely less crowded on metro between 7 and 8 than between 8 and 9.

monthly global meeting today. hard to hear the meeting.

had to go to gainesville to drop off a video on the way home. got home at around 8:00.

we watched antiques roadshow and an episode of foyle's war.

went to bed around 10:30. power went out during the night. it was so dark when the power was out. dark and quite. very strange. my first thought was "not again!"
