woke up at 5:00 when the alarm went off. felt much better than i have for several days. a little sluggish but fairly well.

running slow in the morning but got out in time. tons of traffic on the way to the vre. caught the train at 6:40.
stopped at whole foods on the way to work. bananas, oj, yogurt.
arrived at the office at 8:30. so humid on the way from the metro that I felt like i was swimming.

the vre was packed on the way home. the train was about 10 minutes late so some of the people who usually catch the next train caught the 5:10. there were people standing in the aisles at l'enfant. crazy.
stopped at h-t on the way home.

chicken bacon ranch sub

from subway. not very good.
teen age girl at the subway. she apparently used to work there. she seemed to want to bond with the other folks at the store but they were downright cold to her. rather sad. how much trouble would it be to chat with the girl. oh well.
we watched galaxy quest in the evening. very funny movie.
