got up with the alarm. had trouble turning it off because there was a series of traps between me and the alarm clock.
today marks six months that i've been with cq press. still enjoying the job. wonderful view too.
candy is going back to nc today. i hope the new bathroom will please her.

caught the train easily in the morning. moderately crowded. cute asian lady sat next to me.
the metro seemed less crowded in the morning.
stopped at the uptowner on the way to work.

left the office a little after 4:30. got to the vre about 5 minutes ahead.
the vre train stopped just past burke center. 'police activity' stopping all trains going into manassas park. we were told to expect a long delay. we stopped at about 6:00. the train finally off-loaded at clifton at about 9:15. i got on the 2nd bus to broad run. it was packed. buses must have left clifton about 20 minutes later and got to broad run at about 10:15. i got home about 10:45.

went to bed around 11:15 but slept badly.
