woke up at about 7:00. came downstairs at 7:15. e. was already up and getting on line.

doctor's suspect diverticulitis is mommy's ailment. will monitor. she gets out of the hospital today. glenn is going home for the weekend. karen will be with mommy next week.
glad i cut the grass yesterday. wet out today and cloudy.

i got a call from karen just before lunch. burt was at the hospital to take mommy home. all was going well until mommy had to go to the bathroom. she had an effusion of blood again. apparently quite a large volume. she has been readmitted. she says she feels pretty well. doctors are running tests to find the root of the problem.

heard that mommy took a bad turn in the evening. it sounded very bad for a while. her condition improved in the late evening. claire went down to nn last night. karen and glenn are going tomorrow morning. i will also go down tomorrow morning.
elizabeth is going to stay at home instead of staying at the hotel for the meeting. i hope it won't be too inconvenient!
