i woke up at about 5:30. very cold. pulled on the blanket and went back to sleep. woke up at about 7:00. thought i could sleep a little longer. actually woke up and got up at about 9:00. wacky.

good bagel today.

picked up a lot of sticks in the yard before cutting the grass. couldn't do anything yet about the huge branch on the hill. chatted with fred for about 20 minutes. they just got back from upstate new york (way upstate new york) at 1 in the morning. he was really amazed at the down trees even though the house sitter had told him. he moved the big branch out front using his off road four wheeler.

i cut the grass a little shorter than usual. i like it. lets see if it looks ok in a few days.

watched part of a steven segal movie at lunch. watched part of us/brazil soccer match. great match but i missed most of the excitement.

elizabeth went to bubbles for a hair cut in the afternoon. they did a fairly good job.

we watched an episode of nature about why we love dogs and cats. the pale horse (miss marple) was on mystery tonight. didn't enjoy it. plot seemed willfully twisted!
