i slept better with the extra pillows. used the bipap for 5-6 hours. i woke up at 4:30 and again at 5:30. i was thinking about all the things that needed to be done. i finally got up at 6:00 when i could see the light outside.
i went to hardee's for breakfast. very hungry.

fried bologna was excellent! i should have skipped the cinnamon raisin. not nearly as good as they used to be.
i went looking for the dav building after breakfast. i found the thrif shop but not the chapter.
i got $20 at wachovia on the way back to the house.
i finished packing the vhs tapes for the dav. i packed all the other dav stuff in the car. packed my stuff in the trunk. car was overflowing.
i took a shower and then cleaned the floor. i was running a little bit behind. i actually had a wave of sadness as i walked through and checked the rooms. the shed out back (former home of the dryer) really hit me hard for some reason. amazing how small it is empty. we really packed stuff in there.
is used to have a feeling like that warehouse in Indiana Jones.
i finally got everything in the car and did a last check through. i was a bit late by this time. as i left i met Kip. i think he went to Denbigh with Scott and Glenn. Nice guy.
i got to the rehab a little after 9:00. we left by about 9:15. i had to sign mommy out of the rehab. apparently they forgot on wednesday. we got to the office in plenty of time. it's across the street from the new mall on jefferson avenue.
like the other office i was in yesterday it was not handicapped accessible.
the appointment went well. we got back around 10:45. mommy wanted to lie down at that point.
i decided to go to the dav at that time. i found it ok. it's a little past the stonybrook entrance. i turned in the stuff to a taciturn bloke. didn't really acknowledge in any way. so you're very welcome.
i stopped at ihop across the street for lunch.

i got back to the rehab at around 12:30. she was in p.t. when i got back.
mommy's friends cathy and jimmy arrived while she was in the work out room. they visited for nearly two hours. cathy started to cry as soon as she was out of mommy's line of view.
we had the care planning meeting at 2:00. very quick. she is likely to be released some time around Aug. 13. as long as she keeps making progress.
i tried to make some phone calls after the meeting but had trouble with her phone and couldn't get a signal on my cell. i said good by to mommy.
i stopped at a hardee's to try to make some phone calls. blazingly hot outside. since i still had no signal i turned off my phone and turned it back on. it reacquired the signal at that time. i called karen and gave her an update. i called elizabeth. i tried claire, scott, and glenn. i managed to get mark.
