i woke up at about 5:45 this morning. quite chilly in the room. finally had some ideas about setting up my web page. now i can't remember them!

we got started fairly early moving the biggest branches up to the branch repository. spent about 45 minutes or so on that. elizabeth spent another hour or so working on the lighter branches
did the dishes after that and then mopped the floors downstairs.
i watched "the open championship" and the final of the women's world cup while working on the mopping. darren clarke won the open. i think he ended up winning by 4 strokes. the u.s. women led in the world cup most of the way but japan tied late and then won the penalty kicks. pretty good match. a little disappointing for the u.s. but very nice for japan. i hope it really gives the country a lift.

very good sandwich.

tzatziki sauce again. tasty wraps.
we watched top hat on dvd after dinner
