weather has taken a nice turn for the better. low humidity. much cooler. nice to have the windows open.
alarm went off at 6:10. i reset for 7:10. reset for 7:30 at 7:10. didn't feel like getting up today.

second time we've tried this dish. better than the first time but ... uneventful. don't think we'll try it again.
we watched a really good holmes last night, charles augustus milverton. some of my favorites in the cast. robert hardy as milverton. sophie thompson as his maid. part 1 of 2.
we watched a good poirot after that, death in the clouds. great pictures from paris. air travel seemed very glamorous back then.
just checking mail before going to bed. get an update about mommy. scary news. talking about releasing her from the hospital when she is really in no condition to return home. very worried!
