steamy today!
fourth of july.
i woke up almost every hour on the hour from 3:00 until i finally got up at 7:00. very pleasant in the early morning after the rain but started to get hot around 8:00. we closed up by 9:15 or so.
breakfast
egg sandwich on rye

iced tea
good sandwich.
very sore hip today. i guess it's from mopping so much on saturday and dragging the vacuum up and downstaris on sunday.

we decided to go to borders in the afternoon just to get out of the house. weather was not conducive to fireworks, etc.
lunch
sandwich (ham, turkey, swiss)
pretzels
iced tea
we spent about 90 minutes at borders. read a book about css.
snack
caramel mocha
carrot cake
both very good. i was worried about the mocha because the guy making it was reading the recipe from the book. it came out well, though.
dinner
spaghetti w/ tomato sauce
salad
iced tea
we watched here comes mr. jordan in the evening. enjoyed it. very old fashioned.
